Wichita Sculpture Guild Exhibition
The Wichita Sculptors Guild is a group of artists working in a wide variety of mediums and artistic expression who gather to share struggles, successes, opportunities and inspiration. This exhibition will highlight the artistic diversity of the Guild in the multi-dimensional world we live in.

"Woman," works by Kelsy Gossett
"Woman" is an exploration of contemporary feminity in a collection of photographs and short videos. Gossett draws attention to the stereotypes, faults and often humorous tragedy of prescribed gender roles by using familiar objects and culture references as metaphor. Gossett is pursuing her MFA in Photo Media at Wichita State University. After graduating from the Hallmark Institute of Photography in 2006, she moved to Wichita and opened her own independent portrait and wedding photography business.

"Waiting for the Bus: Drive By Observations," works by Connie Bonfy
"Waiting for the Bus" is a new series of seven oil paintings on canvas and board. Built upon a 2012 exhibition, The Cafe Life exploring the values and the social life of various “creatives” as they gather in Wichita, this new series takes the same lively color palette and applies it to exploring one of the ongoing social issues of Wichita: “Why and just who is it that rides the bus in Wichita?”

"Still: In Motion," works by Tim Stone
Tim has been expanding the idea of painting as process, pushing painting's spacial boundaries toward installation. His work reflects both the natural and artificial landscape of the environment around him. Tim graduated from Wichita State University in 2012 with a BFA in painting. He currently teaches Life Drawing classes at Wichita State University.
